President Donald Trump\u2019s birthday UFC cage match project is causing confusion.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe \u2018UFC Freedom 250\u2019 fight, which just so happens to be scheduled for Trump\u2019s 80th birthday, is a part of the MAGA-ified America 250 celebrations,\u201d The Daily Beast reports. \u201cThe makeshift venue is expected to be able to hold 4,500 guests, far lower than Trump\u2019s wish for it to hold 20,000 spectators.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s gonna be the biggest event we\u2019ve ever had at the White House,\u201d Trump said earlier this month. \u201cI have never seen anybody want anything so much as people want those tickets.\u201d<\/p>\n

Event-related activities will take place around Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

\u201cWeigh-ins for the fight will take place at the Lincoln Memorial,\u201d The Daily Beast noted. \u201cTrump has also said that the White House Ellipse grounds will be made available to host a \u2018UFC Freedom 250 Fan Fest,\u2019 where as many as 100,000 people could watch the fights on TV screens.\u201d<\/p>\n

UFC CEO Dana White acknowledged that the Fight Night event could harm the president, The Daily Beast also reported.<\/p>\n

\u201cI bet he probably wishes that this wasn\u2019t happening, but it\u2019s happening,\u201d White told Rolling Stone on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

But when Trump White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino posted video of the construction of a temporary cage-match arena on the South Lawn of the White House, supporters appeared confused.<\/p>\n

\u201cHappening now, from the West Wing Colonnade\u2014Looking out toward the South Lawn of The White House,\u201d Scavino wrote, adding a #UFC hashtag.<\/p>\n

\u201cThought it was a rollercoaster!\u201d said another.<\/p>\n
