During a conversation this morning on \u201cCoffee with the Contrarians,\u201d rights attorney and frequent Trump administration legal nemesis Norman Eisen kicked off the conversation with a simple question about where things stand in relation to President Donald Trump\u2019s attack on the rule of law.<\/p>\n

According to Eisen, Trump\u2019s growing stink-pile of defeats speak volumes.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don’t think that people walked into Trump 2.0 thinking this is some sort of unstoppable juggernaut [this time],\u201d said host Adam Klasfeld. \u201cHe is losing and he is losing repeatedly. He\u2019s lost 22 times in the courts while trying to get sensitive voter data.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eisen agreed that Trump was considered an unstoppable force when he swaggered back into the White House for his second term, despite being a convicted felon on multiple counts. Aided by a willing Republican Congressional majority, Trump slapped his name and face on everything he desired, installed hacks over the levers of government and then declared war upon his perceived political enemies.<\/p>\n

But since then, Eisen said courts have trounced Trump\u2019s plans, and his appointees have failed or come under attack.<\/p>\n

And it goes further than the presidents attempted military occupations of U.S. cities, his idiot \u201cLiberation Day\u201d tariffs and his birthright citizenship ban,\u201d said Eisen.<\/p>\n

His former election lawyer Harmeet Dhillon \u201cis 0-22 (so far) in her effort to grab sensitive voter-roll information from states across the country and Washington, D.C. Nationwide protests forced his administration to abandon an archipelago of immigration warehouses,\u201d said Eisen.<\/p>\n

And even though universities, law firms, and media companies rolled over for Trump at first, they\u2019re now pushing back and lobbing roundhouse kicks in court.<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s more than these things, too, said Eisen.<\/p>\n

\u201cEarlier this week, we filed a [promising] brief \u2026 [against] further construction of that Versailles-style let-them-eat-cake Trump Antoinette Ballroom that Donald Trump is building to replace the East Wing. And we told the Supreme Court, leave the injunction in place. This is a totally illegal activity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eisen, a former diplomat, said Trump\u2019s people also bungled their filing in the Davey Hearn Reflecting Pool case by failing to mention evidence showing Trump falsely accused Hearn \u2014 which will likely deep-six their case for good.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ostrich approach never works in the practice of law,\u201d said Eisen, who then ticked off a list of previous mistakes Trump\u2019s DOJ flubbed in that case.<\/p>\n

And then there\u2019s Kennedy Center case, where the judge has asked for new information that is likely to derail Trump\u2019s crusade to put his name on things that don\u2019t belong to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey take down Donald Trump’s name, they hide it with a tarp, and then they say, \u2018oh, instead of putting his name above, we’re gonna put his name below,\u2019 said Eisen, interrupting the interview with laughter.<\/p>\n

Eisen\u2019s partners at the Washington Litigation Group, working with his Democracy Defenders Fund, is also taking on the toxic site Trump created with his DC-wide construction projects.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike the toxic dirt that Trump removed. He piled a mountain of it, dumped in the middle of a public golf course in D.C., East Potomac Park, full of chromium and arsenic and lead and left it there to blow around the golf course and the children’s playground, leech into the water table in D.C.,\u201d said Eisen, who predicted a very easy win by mixing toxic soil with kids.<\/p>\n

But one of the biggest things working against Trump, in addition to court judges, appears to be voters, who Eisen said \u201care way ahead\u201d of what judges are thinking in dumping Trump and the regime and allies connected to him.<\/p>\n
