President Donald Trump praised a CNN analyst who has repeatedly highlighted his sinking poll numbers \u2014 a striking turn given his long battle with the network.<\/p>\n

On the same day that CNN data analyst Harry Enten<\/strong> asked of the president\u2019s poll numbers, \u201cHow low can you go?\u201d Trump called him an \u201chonorable guy\u201d who gives \u201cthe good and the bad,\u201d as The Daily Beast reported.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. President,\u201d a reporter asked on Tuesday, \u201cwhy is the establishment media claiming so desperately that MAGA is divided?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I think it\u2019s the strongest it\u2019s ever been,\u201d Trump replied. \u201cI think MAGA\u2019s never been more together, actually.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noting that Enten has called Trump\u2019s poll numbers \u201cdownright atrocious\u201d and some of \u201cthe ugliest numbers\u201d he has ever seen, The Daily Beast reported that Trump \u201cproceeded to launch into a rave review of Enten.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, I appreciate the question because even CNN, they did a poll two, three weeks ago,\u201d Trump continued. \u201cThey said Trump is at 100 percent.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s Harry Enten,\u201d Trump said. \u201cI like Harry Enten. You know, he\u2019s got a lot of energy. I like him. But he did a poll and he\u2019s a good pro. And he gives the good and the bad, but I think he\u2019s an honorable guy. He did a lot of good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in March, Enten had declared Trump had unanimous approval among his MAGA base \u2014 even if he was falling among some conservatives.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t have to be a mathematical genius to know you can\u2019t go higher than 100 percent,\u201d Enten said. \u201cThe bottom line is this: if you are a member of MAGA, you approve of Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clearly that had stuck with the president.<\/p>\n

\u201cMAGA is most of the Republican Party,\u201d Trump said on Tuesday. \u201cThe RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) are gone to a large extent.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, Enten also had bad news for the president.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe bottom has completely fallen out when it comes to Donald Trump and Latino voters,\u201d he said on Friday. Latino voters from 2024 \u201chave abandoned him with the utmost, just, dislike of what he is doing so far \u2014 just 28 percent, a drop of 18 points.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAgain, the bottom has just completely fallen out, and, of course, when you look across that political map, there are so many races that will be involving a lot of Latino voters, and when you see numbers like this, I just go, \u2018Uh oh,\u2019 if I am a Republican running for Congress,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
