Fox Business host Larry Kudlow has clearly had it with Republicans\u2019 escalating failures in the House and Senate \u2014 enough to hit guest lawmaker Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) with an on-air meltdown.<\/p>\n

Kudlow preceded his guest\u2019s Wednesday appearance with a nearly ten-minute rant about Republicans losing \u201ctheir mojo\u201d and blowing their thin majorities in Congress under Trump\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe GOP leadership is letting everyone down,\u201d Kudlow ranted, says Mediaite. \u201cWhether it\u2019s swag, swagger, rizz, aura, or how about just plain bad messaging? Anyway, the GOP doesn\u2019t have it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kudlow then welcomed Lankford with an apology \u2014 but his generous feeling did not last.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. Lankford, I\u2019m sorry you had to bear the brunt of the opening. But I\u2019m telling you right now, you, the leadership in both houses, are bungling everything, Sir! I say that with all due respect, and we are personal friends. But you are bungling everything!\u201d Kudlow complained. \u201cNothing is getting done! Your messaging is nonexistent! You\u2019ve lost your swag, your swagger, your rizz, or whatever young people say. No one knows what the heck you\u2019re doing Sir! They have no idea!\u201d<\/p>\n

What followed, according to Mediaite, was a series of meek rationalization by the GOP lawmaker.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026 [We] got with all of our media friends out there that continue to be able to beat up on Republicans and say, \u2018Republicans are all the problem.\u2019 But apparently, the socialist Democrats in New York City, they seem to be perfect because most conservative media right now is beating up on Republicans and just ignoring the socialists who are running rampant all over the country\u2013\u201c<\/p>\n

\u201cOh Jim,\u201d Kudlow moaned.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I look back on what happened with the One Big Beautiful Bill \u2026, Lankford continued.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCome on,\u201d Kudlow said.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2013 [T]he housing bill we just passed, there\u2019s a lot of things going on that are good\u2013\u201c<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t go there!\u201d Kudlow pleaded, before reminding Lankford that Kudlow himself made sure to attack Mamdani more than anybody.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t saying that just about you,\u201d Lankford insisted.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat isn\u2019t the point,\u201d Kudlow raged.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, this is the challenge that we\u2019re up against right now,\u201d Lanford argued.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is it that your policy is?\u201d Kudlow then hammered. \u201cSenator Lankford, my friend, what is your policy? Where are the tax cuts? Where are the spending cuts? Where\u2019s the waste, fraud and corruption reduction? Where is all of that? Where is the reconciliation bill? Where\u2019s the straight talk and messaging for the midterm? Where\u2019s the growth messaging? Where\u2019s the \u2018We\u2019re gonna make it better for taxpayers and working folks\u2019 messaging? Come on, Senator.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mediaite reports this isn\u2019t Kudlow\u2019s first grumpy interrogation, having cut off Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) to point out that he was unhappy with the Republicans\u2019 forthcoming legislative strategy after Republicans won back control of the Senate in 2024.<\/p>\n

Kudlow may also be feeling the heat of a likely November rout as unhappy voters prepare to judge Trump and the Republican Party\u2019s failure to improve lives and lower gas and food prices, in addition to voters\u2019 mounting animosity with Trump\u2019s unilateral war on Iran.<\/p>\n
