President Donald Trump has long claimed his height is 6-foot-3, but a Wednesday appearance alongside Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) seems to have exposed the truth to Trump\u2019s stature. <\/p>\n

As the Daily Beast<\/u> reports, Thune stands at a beanpole 6-foot-4, meaning he should only be an inch taller than Trump. But as the former towered over the latter in a recent photo, it is now clear that something is amiss with the president\u2019s asserted size. <\/p>\n

\u201cOne photo taken by photographer Kevin Dietsch of the two men walking side by side on level ground appeared to show Thune\u2019s line of sight landing around the top of the president\u2019s signature straw-colored coiffure, making the official one-inch gap difficult to discern,\u201d explained the Daily Beast. <\/p>\n

Neither Trump nor his administration are known for their honesty, not even among his followers. But this isn\u2019t the first time there has been suggestion raised of Trump\u2019s amplified altitude. According to the Daily Beast, \u201cTrump \u2014 who has a habit of exaggerating numbers<\/u> when it suits him \u2014 has routinely fallen short of his height claim when tested in side-by-side comparisons. Prince William, who is also widely reported to be 6-foot-3, appears noticeably taller than the president whenever the pair pose side by side. William, 44, appeared much taller when the two were photographed together in Paris ahead of the reopening ceremony at Notre-Dame Cathedral in December 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, reporting has revealed hard numbers that imply daylight between Trump\u2019s stated and true height. According to the Daily Beast, \u201cBack in 2012, Trump listed his height at 6-foot-2 on his New York driver\u2019s license, which Politico<\/u> obtained through an open records request. But by 2018, his first White House medical report began putting him at 6-foot-3.\u201d<\/p>\n
