Political strategist Steve Schmidt, a Republican turned Democrat, is blasting President Donald Trump as \u201cdespised,\u201d \u201cdecrepit,\u201d \u201cbitter,\u201d \u201cangry,\u201d \u201cold,\u201d \u201clonely,\u201d and \u201chated\u201d \u2014 while warning that \u201cthis week of desecration is only going to get worse from here.\u201d<\/p>\n

The co-founder of The Lincoln Project, Schmidt declared Trump\u2019s White House \u2014 complete with a UFC cage match \u201cOctagon\u201d constructed to celebrate his 80th birthday and the start of the nation\u2019s 250th birthday celebrations \u2014 a \u201csymbol for the destruction of this era.\u201d<\/p>\n

That destruction, Schmidt says, includes \u201cred hot\u201d inflation and a lost Iran war.<\/p>\n

Trump \u201cisn\u2019t just mistrusted. And disliked,\u201d says Schmidt, \u201cDonald Trump is genuinely despised. He\u2019s hated.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has earned this hatred, well and fully,\u201d Schmidt declares, before calling Trump a \u201cdecrepit man\u201d who is \u201cthe leader of a cult in America.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cConsider his decrepitude,\u201d Schmidt urges. \u201cHe cannot walk in a straight line.\u201d<\/p>\n

Offering examples, Schmidt points to Trump\u2019s ankles, his sleeping in meetings, his \u201cslurring of words.\u201d Trump \u201cis physically and mentally incontinent,\u201d says Schmidt, in words similar to those he used on Monday when he declared the president \u201cpsychologically incontinent.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd yet, the cynical men, the vandals, who have assaulted the Republic, lit the Constitution on fire, and have curated this fascism from day one, insist, by the time we get to 2028, Trump will just be getting started,\u201d he warned, before playing video of former Trump adviser Steve Bannon declaring he believes Trump will run for president again in 2028, despite the current constitutional ban.<\/p>\n

\u201cDonald Trump is the worst president in American history,\u201d Schmidt continued. \u201cHe is a human malignancy. A pancreatic cancer on the American Republic, a lethal terminal cancer,\u201d a \u201cMAGA cancer\u201d that \u201cmust be excised, fully from our politics.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDespite what men like Steve Bannon and Donald Trump promise and threaten,\u201d Schmidt observes, \u201cand then abuse and break, we will always have a vote. And the American people will vote these people out of office with an extreme prejudice come November. We will vote them out from coast to coast. From the top of the ballot to the bottom of the ballot.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDonald Trump,\u201d Schmidt continues, \u201cis unfit, physically. Emotionally. In every conceivable way. But especially morally. And because of that, all of us, the American people, all the people of the world are in danger. Make no mistake about that.\u201d<\/p>\n
